SATURDAY SCREENING

Attend a live screening at your local movie theater! Screening dates and times cannot be changed. Tickets purchased by the Met for Saturday screenings count toward your total ticket allotment for the season.

ENCORE SCREENING

Attend an encore presentation, or rebroadcast, at your local movie theater! Screening dates and times are determined by individual theaters and cannot be changed. Not all theater present encores; please check your local listings. Tickets purchased by the Met for encore screenings count toward your total ticket allotment for the season.

PRIVATE SCREENING

Schedule a private screening at your local movie theater! Private screenings are requested by partners for a specific date and time and arranged by Met staff in consultation with individual theaters. Private screenings can be scheduled in the five-week period following the initial Saturday screening date. A minimum of 50 attendees is required to schedule a private screening; we cannot guarantee that a request for a private screening will be approved. Tickets purchased by the Met for private screenings count toward your total ticket allotment for the season.

MET OPERA ON DEMAND (MOoD) SCREENING

Screen an opera from the Met Opera on Demand (MOoD)! Each partner receives complimentary access to MOoD, which includes nearly 900 audio and video recordings from the Met, including the entirety of the Live in HD transmission series. Screening dates and times are chosen by the partner site and available all year round. While ticket requests are not necessary for MOoD screenings, please inform us of any planned/structured MOoD screening using the appropriate form below.

NATIONAL EDUCATOR CONFERENCE

Through workshops, keynotes, and conversations with opera stars and members of the Met’s creative teams, our annual conference helps educators identify and cultivate strategies for incorporating opera into their classrooms. At least one representative from each partner site must attend the National Educator Conference each season. You can find all materials and resources from the conference in the folders below. VIRTUAL EDUCATOR CONFERENCES

Offered two-three times per season, our virtual conferences provide opportunities learn more about upcoming Live in HD screenings through curricular exploration and interviews with artists, creatives, and experts. Attendance at Virtual Educator Conferences is not required, but they open to all. Recodings of each virtual conference are uploaded to our YouTube channel.

VIRTUAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Explore how best to implement HD Live in Schools at your school! Met Education staff can collaborate with partner representatives to curate virtual professional development sessions focused on your school, district, or organization's specific goals—from an overview of the season to activating opera-based learning in a sixth-grade science classroom. Virtual professional development is optional and offered to all partner sites at no cost.

POST-SCREENING SURVEYS

Partner districts are required to submit surveys following each Live in HD screening they attend. This information is crucial for helping us track student engagement and curriculum integration, provide updated data for fundraising efforts, and assess how we can best support educators and administrators in the program. You are also more than welcome to submit photos of students or student projects!
